Inbound cloud phone system for call-center teams

What an inbound cloud phone system needs for a 10–40 seat floor — queues, an auto-attendant, a browser softphone, SMS, recording, and per-seat pricing — and how Dialcove covers that work.

A call-center team that takes inbound work needs a phone system that routes the caller, rings the right seat, and leaves a record of what happened. Dialcove is a cloud phone system for that inbound floor — not a wall of unused chrome.

This guide is the starting point. It deep-links the public product pages and the how-to guides that sit next to them.

What inbound teams actually run

Most inbound floors share the same checklist:

  • A main number callers already know, or a new local / toll-free line
  • An auto-attendant so Press 1 reaches the right queue
  • Queues and skills so the advisor who can take the call is the one who rings
  • A browser softphone on a laptop or a phone — Answer, Hold, Mute, Hang up
  • Voicemail when no one answers, and hours so after-hours traffic is handled
  • SMS follow-up on the same number, with a real 10DLC status
  • Call recording you can turn on, with a consent announcement before connect
  • A civic emergency address so 911 has a location — or the floor shows that it is missing

Dialcove is built around that list. The public walkthrough lives on Home and Features. Seats and plans are on Pricing.

Plans, seats, and what you pay

Billing is per seat, not a mystery bundle:

  • Starter — $29 per seat / month
  • Growth — $49 per seat / month
  • Enterprise — $79 per seat / month

After sign-in, an admin opens Billing to pick a plan and a seat count. The estimate is seats times the list rate. Until Stripe is connected on the host, confirming a plan change saves the preference and does not charge a card. Invoice history stays empty until Stripe returns invoices. See Pricing.

The floor you sign in to

Signed-in Dialcove is the Floor. Advisors answer from the browser dock. Admins publish the attendant, set hours, and watch the wallboard. Each company is isolated — users, queues, numbers, and recordings do not mix.

There is no native App Store or Play Store app. Add Dialcove to the Home Screen for a full-screen phone. That is the installable PWA. The feature write-up is Browser softphone and Add to Home Screen.

Numbers you keep, numbers you request

  • Keep a number you already have — start a port. We file the port with your carrier after you confirm. FOC date is set when the losing carrier returns it. Guide: Port your business number. After sign-in, the worksheet is Porting.
  • Get a new local or toll-free line — search by area code, then Hold or Request. Dialcove does not purchase the DID, does not charge a card, and does not mark the number live. Guide: Get a local or toll-free number. After sign-in: Numbers.

Compliance that stays honest

  • Recording is optional. When it is on, Dialcove can play a consent announcement (Say or Play) before the caller is connected. Retention is 30 / 90 / 365 / custom days. This host does not auto-delete older files. Guide: Call recording and consent announcements.
  • Business SMS stores brand registration status, a campaign use-case, and HELP/STOP replies. Dialcove never marks Approved for you. Submit in Twilio Console when the brand is ready. Guide: Business SMS and 10DLC.
  • 911 uses the civic address you store. Dialcove stores the address and does not place 911. Live 911 still needs that address registered with the voice provider. Guide: Emergency address and 911 location. After sign-in: Emergency address.

Feature write-ups on this site

Short, rankable pages for the rest of the floor:

Trust Hub, SSO, SIP, and Stripe show Not connected until they are wired. Dialcove does not invent a live hookup.

What this guide does not claim

Dialcove does not invent customer logos, traffic stats, or analytics IDs. It does not place calls from a marketing page. It does not charge a card from a guide. Open Home to read the product in one sitting, Features for the full list, and Pricing for the three per-seat plans.
