Sometimes the floor needs a face-to-face room that is not a PSTN call. Video meetings create a named meeting and a same-origin join link.
The room asks for camera and microphone, then shows your local preview and Waiting for others. Dialcove has not wired a media server, so it does not invent remote participants and does not send your camera to other browsers yet.
This is a browser meeting room, not a native app, and it does not place phone calls. The PSTN softphone stays on the Floor dock.
