Auto-attendant and IVR
Publish a greeting and a keypad menu that routes to a queue, extension, voicemail, callback, or external number. Drafts stay off the live number until you publish.
Callers should hear a greeting and a keypad they can trust. Dialcove’s Visual IVR is that attendant.
An admin opens IVR (also linked from Hours & greeting). Save draft keeps the edit off the live DID. Publish is what the voice webhook runs.
Each digit 0–9, star, or # can route to a Queue, Extension, Voicemail, External number, Nested menu, Callback, or Hang up.
During open hours the live number Gathers one digit and follows the published path — unless Forward to external number is Always, which Dials that number immediately. After hours, callers hear the after-hours message and can leave Frontline voicemail unless When closed or Always forward is on.
