Business SMS and 10DLC on Dialcove
Brand registration status, campaign use-case, and HELP/STOP keywords on the same floor. Dialcove never marks a brand Approved for you.
Business SMS on a local number is not “just turn on texting.” Carriers expect a 10DLC brand and campaign. Dialcove stores the worksheet and handles the keywords. It does not file A2P for you.
After sign-in, Help phrases “10DLC”, “SMS registration”, “text compliance”, and “opt out” open Messaging. This 10DLC guide is the public version.
Brand registration status you set
On Messaging, set status to draft, pending, approved, or rejected. New companies start as draft. Dialcove never marks Approved unless an admin does.
- Rejected blocks outbound SMS from Inbox, SMS inbox, and survey texts.
- Draft still sends and warns the advisor.
That status is stored on the company. It is not a carrier callback.
Campaign use-case worksheet
Fill vertical, sample messages, and opt-in language. Copy them into Twilio Console (Trust Hub / A2P 10DLC) when the brand is ready. Dialcove does not collect an EIN and does not file the brand.
HELP and STOP
Inbound texts:
- STOP / STOPALL / UNSUBSCRIBE / CANCEL / END / QUIT — opt out that number and send a standard reply
- HELP / INFO — send the help reply
- START / UNSTOP / YES — resubscribe
Optional: Append STOP/HELP footer on outbound advisor texts. Edit the HELP and STOP replies if you want custom copy.
Where texts live
Advisors send and receive on Inbox and SMS inbox. Customer SMS stays there — not in Team chat.
Trust Hub wiring status (Connected or Not connected) is on Connections. See Connections: Trust Hub, SSO, SIP, and Stripe. Dialcove does not invent an approved brand from that page either.
